Stage Sound has a large array of services as the result of its 38 years of involvement in the audio industry. Our client base ranges from schools and churches through to bands, bars of all types and nightclub installations and concert PA hire.  We own a very busy rehearsal studio that we also record live bands in. We provide playback and vocal sound systems for funstions and parties with computer music systems or CD players. We have a large range of PA rigs and both band and disco lighting. Radio microphones and shotgun mics are an important part of our inventory along with various sized large professional PA rigs for live band and concert stage use in venues such as the Logan Cambel Center.

We have an in-depth knowledge of sound equipment hardware and its applications as a direct result of our 15 years involvement in manufacturing. This gives us a distinct advantage when examining equipment to form an opinion as to its quality or suitability for a given task. Therefore we can sell equipment comfortable in the knowledge that we have done the right thing by our clients. Though many operators have a 'flash the stash and grab the cash' attitude. At Stage Sound we do not subscribe to this philosophy. We would far rather make less money and keep a client coming back many years after he made his first purchase from us. Much of our sales business comes through word of mouth advertising rather than advertising expenditure.

The rehearsal studio has been run by Bronwyn for twenty years or more and is clean, modern and a great place for bands to jam in. Some bands have been permanent users for over ten years! Bron has a friendly and helpful approach and has always had a good relationship with all of our bands.

This site will eventually include a book on using Pro Audio systems and it will be hyperlinked to the sites main pages. We hope this work will be of substantial benefit to all who use it. Over two years intense effort went into the creation of this large document in an effort to give something back to an industry that has given so much fulfillment to us.

We make no claim that all the contents of this site are word perfect and we make no appology for the fact that we cannot be all things to all men. We readily invite constructive critism and friendly discussion on any relevant audio topic. We  also make no applogies for the controversial nature of some of the content and we invite enthusiastic discussion on all audio subjects. We will consider articles produced by other well meaning individuals for publication alongside our own content. At this stage other than give credits to the authors we can not pay anyone for contributions. No free adverts either please.

It is our sincere hope to foster an attitude of geniune professionalism in the use of live audio equipment. This site is intended as a resource to this end. We do hope you use it to your advantage and appreciate the merit in its inception. We hope to grow it into something of real value to our industry.
